Last week, I announced that I would soon be changing the way that the 
SHAKSPER server operates and the way that the SHAKSPER listserv mailings 
are distributed.

The first step in this process has been taken with some almost expected 
comedies of errors consequences.

Consequently, the server was down all this past weekend but is back in 
service now.

My house is now wired for fiber-optic communications. I am currently 
using the fiber-optic connections for my land telephone and for my 
in-house wireless network.

Regarding SHAKSPER, the next step of migrating my fiber optics service 
from residential to business service, the obtaining static IP addresses 
I need, the registering of the address to one of those 
new static IP address, the configuring of the server, and so on -- all 
remain to be completed.

I will keep members informed as we proceed and look forward to improved 
delivery of the digests and the speed visitor to the website will have 
when using the server.

On a personal note, I continue to struggle with my various ills but also 
continue to find joy in working with SHAKSPER and its associated
