Subject:    Tarlton, Kempe, and Great Households

I am interested in any resources which might shed light on the lives of 
Tarlton and Kempe, with particular reference to their clowning at 
Household occasions such as feasts and other celebrations. Information 
on other clowns of the period would also be most helpful, particularly 
if it points to aristocratic patronage.
