Subject:    Toneelgroep Amsterdam: Roman Tragedies

List members in North America might be interested in advance notice of a 
visit by the Dutch theatre company Toneelgroep Amsterdam -- they will be 
performing their extraordinary 6 hour conflation of Coriolanus, Julius 
Caesar and Antony and Cleopatra, renamed The Roman Tragedies, at

Montreal May 28, 29, 30
Quebec June 4, 5, 6

New York (Lincoln Festival) July 9, 10, 11

(I'm afraid I have no further details of venues.)

Six hours of Shakespeare in Dutch may not sound like a hot ticket, but I 
saw this production recently in London, and it is by far the best 
Shakespeare I have seen in years (if not ever).  Others agree:
