Subject: Horatio/oratio
I've been unable to re-locate a _Hamlet_ essay from perhaps 15-20 years
ago that argues that Horatio is not a coherent character but a function
signified by his name as a pun on oratio, 'I speak'. Does anyone
recognize the item?
