Dear Hardy Cook,

The Marder family appreciates the Louis Marder obituary that you 
published in SHAKSPER on Dec 18, 2009. It is a wonderful tribute to him.

We would like to inform the Shakespeare community that we are in the 
process of settling Louis' estate. As is well known, the centerpiece of 
the estate is his Shakespeare and Elizabethan book, memorabilia and 
artifacts collection. We are seeking a museum, educational institution 
or Shakespeare-oriented organization or individual that would be willing 
to purchase and keep the collection intact in loving memory of Louis 
Marder. Our goal is to preserve the integrity of The Collection as his 
legacy and memorialize his life's work and unique vision, dedication and 
passion for the works of William Shakespeare.
