> Announcing the winner of the Council of Editors of Learned Journals Honorable Mention Best New Literary Journal: Early Modern Women: An Interdisciplinary Journal (EMWJ). EMWJ is the only peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the interdisciplinary and global study of women and gender during the years 1400 to 1700. The global and interdisciplinary content of the journal makes its essays appealing to humanities scholars and students in a variety of departments ranging from art history, literature, music, history, and women's studies. Volume 4 currently, now in print, features articles by Joanne H. Wright, Peter Matheson, Holly Hurlburt, and Amber Youell. Also included is a forum on "Early Modern Women and Material Culture." Volume 5, forthcoming in 2010, will include articles by Anne Duggan, Naomi McAreavey, Elisa Oh, and Linda Hults. A forum on "Sex and the Early Modern Women" is also included.
