Lean & Hungry Theater: Romeo and Juliet
Monday., Feb. 14, 2011, at 9 p.m. on WAMU 88.5 and 88.3 Ocean City

Lean & Hungry Theater turns the classics of Shakespeare into "radio plays," combining the original text 
with modern language narration to make the action easy to follow on the air. Love is in the air and 
Cupid has his arrows knocked. For the young teens of modern day Verona, California, the days are 
filled with classes, fencing lessons, parties, and way too much testosterone.  For the high-class 
families of the Capulets and Montagues, the arrival of the season means yet another opportunity to 
outshine the other in riches, reputation, and influence.
