I'm sorry this thread is ending. I was just beginning to enjoy myself. Maybe that's why.

To Al Magary: 1 Richard II is not my career. I just think Shakespeare wrote it. I also think he had a hand in The Troublesome Reign, etc. There is a considerable literature about this and related questions but Magary won't read it because he knows ahead of time that it's all nonsense.

To G. Egan: Wrong again, Gabriel, not everyone is allowed on this list. The correspondent I cited is only one of several, and his/her quote was not attributed at his/her request. BTW, where's your apology and other factual corrections?

To Larry Weiss: I did not agree to participate in your show trial and thus did not submit additional supporting docs. Readers will understand my reluctance from Weiss's current letter where he actually accuses me of lying and inventing the words of my correspondent. Anyone interested in positive evaluations of my argument can look them up on line. Finally, as now thrice-promised, I will respond to Weiss & Co in due course. It's full of errors, misrepresentations, false logic and more. So it will take some time. I encourage Mr Weiss to hold his breath.

Cheerfully,

Michael Egan

[Editor’s Note: Please see previous digest—Anonymous—for my comments about “banning” members. I have received many emails asking me to stop this thread, in one case describing the thread as becoming “painful” to read. I promised from the beginning that I would make available Michael Egan’s reply to the detailed case against him complied by Larry Weiss. I still await that reply and will do so when it arrives. I could try to explain why I have let this thread go on as long as I have, but my explanation would undoubtedly be misconstrued. The rest is silence. -Hardy]
