Whatever we make of the Ghost of Henry VI as a character, certainly there is one more character who appears in the flesh in four different Shakespeare plays--Bardolph, of 1 Henry IV, 2 Henry IV, The Merry Wives of Windsor, and King Henry V—he of the pimply, red face, dubbed by Falstaff the Knight of the Burning Lamp.
