Leonatus Posthumus' mother, from Cymbeline, died in childbirth. As her ghost says in Cymbeline V.iv:
Lucina lent me not her aid, but took me in my throes; that from me was Posthumus ript, came crying 'mongst his foes, a thing of pity!
And, of course, there's Macduff, "Macduff was from his mother's womb untimely ripp'd" Macbeth, V.vii
Cheers, George W. Angell
