Casting JC with women might well work brilliantly, I can imagine that – what I can’t imagine is the prison setting. Has anyone seen this production? Are they all in prison, or is Caesar the governor? I looked up the big account of it posted on line, but can’t work this out from there . . .

Do they manage to avoid making the whole thing suggest the old Australian soap Prisoner: Cell Block H, or the new American Orange is the New Black . . .?  (If it’s like the former, I would love to go and see it . . .)
