My father, Dr. Alan D. Lehman, was a Shakespeare scholar who died last
year. My brother and I inherited his Shakespeare LP recordings. The
following recordings are available, individually, or the collection, at
a price to be negotiated:
Shakespeare Recording Society (Caedmon):
King Richard II SRS-216 3 records 1962
Henry IV Part I SRS 217-S 3 records 1964
As You Like It SRS-228 3 records 1962
Romeo and Juliet SRS-228 3 records 1961
Hamlet SRS 232 4 records 1963
Julius Caesar SRS-S-230 3 records 1964
A Midsummer Night's Dream SRS-S-208 3 records 1964*
Troylus and Cressida SRS-M 234 3 records 1962
Mercury Hill:
10 Great Shakespeare Plays 923327 10 records 1962
All records appear to be in good condition. In some cases, Dad
substituted plastic sleeves for the originals. The boxes are generally
in good condition, although some have split corners, or some scotch tape
on the backs. The "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is still in its original
shrink wrap.
