Re Zip Kellogg's query about the First Folio, I have only negative
information. There is now available a book which is called something
like "A Handbook and Census of Sh's First Folio", author unrecalled, but
it's fairly recent. Whatever else you may eventually use: DO NOT USE THIS
BOOK. Its errors are truly extraordinary, wild beyond belief, but so
carefully hidden that only someone who already knows the information can
fully uncover them. A review of this work will shortly appear by
Peter Blayney in, as I understand, *Shakespeare Quarterly*. In the meantime,
prenez garde.

Off the top of my head, what about the Short Title catalogue, 2nd edition,
revised by Jackson and Pantzer? ie, English Books 1475-1640? I'll check
it later this morning/afternoon, but I think all copies of F1 appear there?
