Subject: Volunteers for Project
My thanks to all who volunteered. The response was very gratifying. More
than likely I will use you all, since that will spread the work around and
not swamp anyone too much and give the students more of a sense of one-to-
one (or close to it).
I would ask you all to bear with me for a few days. My Internet address is
new to me and I am trying now to learn the ins and outs of the UNIX system
on which it runs (I am operating off two different mainframes). I may not
be quite so fast at responding to you as I'd like, because from the looks of
it the UNIX computer's mailer is capable of a lot more in terms of setting
up "mass mailing lists." However, I suspect, due to the nature of how student
accounts are set up in Fredonia, we may be using the Bitnet address more than
Internet. But I will begin to set up the details and get back to all of you
who volunteered shortly. Classes begin at Fredonia on August 24, and surely
by the end of August (if not before) I will have the details worked out. All
volunteers will get a copy of my syllabus via email as well.
Thanks again| I am very excited about this|
