Subject: Remember me?
I know, you've all been holding your breath, waiting impatiently
to see how I did on my auditions in March. Well, the wait is over. After
going in there with the prologue to Henry V and the "Why then do I dream on
sovreignity?" speech by Richard in Henry VI, part 3 memorized (they still
are, too. <shudder>), I got a nice, handwritten letter informing me that
they were only casting 9 people for the season and surprise, surprise, surprise,
I was not one of them.
    Not that I'm bitter. ;)
I would like to thank those of you who gave me suggestions as to which
monologues I should use, as you can see, I took some of the ideas you gave me.
It was an interesting process, one which I will probably repeat in the future
(to the dismay of my sanity) many times. I'm just thankful that my theater
teacher insists on telling his class how miserable the life of an actor is. No
false hopes here....
                         Back to lurking.... for now
