Shakespeare Electronic Conference, Vol. 5, No. 0050. Thursday, 20 January 1994. From: Kenneth Meaney <MEANEY@FINUJO> Date: Thursday, 20 Jan 1994 11:44 Subject: Re: Verse Speaking and Peter Hall I am new to the list and came across Bill Gelber's query about Peter Hall's methods of teaching verse speaking while browsing through last December's log file. I don't think anyone mentioned Tirzah Lowen's recent book, _Peter Hall Directs Antony and Cleopatra_ (London: Methuen, 1990), which has a chapter (Language: 'Content and Stucture are Indivisible') on precisely this.
