I feel as though I were caught in a time warp!  We are starting all over
again in 1999 the misunderstandings of the purpose of Globe3 which we
have had on this list, and in the press, in 1997 and 1998.  Globe3 is,
if it is anything, a laboratory for the study of how the plays of
Shakespeare and contemporaries work in the theatre for which they were
intended.  Aside from keeping its head above financial water, the Globe
is not a commercial theatre.  If this is not true then let's have them
put on My Fair Lady or Oklahoma! and pack 'em in.
