Subject:        More Matter with Less Art

An article on page 1 of the business section of today's New York Times
states that "both government agencies and some companies are now trying
to use clearer, simpler writing than they did in the past."  Wouldn't it
be great if writers on Shakespearean subjects also tried to use clear
and simple writing to convey their messages? Or is the vocabulary the
message?
