Dear Helen:  Timbs and Gunn's of Abbeys, Castles, and Halls does not
list a Langley Castle at all,  There was a Langley Priory, but that was
in Northeumbrland in the far north of England.  Sugden gives a Langley
()now King's Langley, but that is about twenty miles north west of
London.  No mention of a "castle" here. The Northumberland site is
probably the one that is meant in RII.
