Hey, Mike, I am familiar with the concept of self-fulfilling prophecy,
but not as it applies to me.
I think I'll write the essay just to "get it out there"--I don't notice
anyone else writing it.
If I offend your tender sensibilities, I'm sorry--I was just being my
polite Southern self and asking first.
Shakespeare, I note, asks the audience's indulgence after he writes the
play--I've always prospered in following him rather than any advice I
get from my contemporaries.
