Subject: Baby Shakespeare
I was doing an Amazon search for new Shakespeare-related releases on
VHS-DVD, and what should I stumble upon but...a video entitled "Baby
Shakespeare." No synopsis, no description, just the info that it's from
the same folks that brought us "Baby Mozart," "Baby Einstein," and "Baby
Bach." One customer review, to wit:
"Intelligent Babies? Definitely!
"This is truly an excellent find and a must-have for parents with
babies. This video consists of music, words, pictures and different
sounds making it interesting to watch, whether you're the baby or the
parent. It is a grown-up kind of video for babies. This video gets a
5-star rating. The Baby Shakespeare video captures the imagination of my
baby and keeps him occupied in an educating way. My baby watches this
video with anticipation and participation. He loves this video and I
must congratulate the Baby Einstein Company for this excellent way of
educating little people."
Since I neither have any babies nor want any, I am not going to spend
8.99 BPS just to satisfy my curiosity. But I am curious. What in the
world IS this? If anyone knows, please share.
