Dear SHAKSPEReans:

If you would like to get hold of Robert Bearman's recent work on the
Shakeshafte theory, you MUST wait until it appears in the spring issue
of the Shakespeare Quarterly. If you are not subscribing to it, you
should be able to find the journal at any main university library.

I ran into him this weekend, and he told me that nearly 10 SHAKSPEReans
had asked him to send them the script of his work. He doesn't feel
comfortable about sending it to people freely before it is published in
the SQ, and has accordingly decided not to make it available until it is
published.

Since I reported his work on here, I feel responsible for this incident
(and sorry for Bob). If you are interested in his work, I would like to
ask you to wait until it is published in the SPRING issue of the SQ and
not to ask him to send you the essay.

Thanks for your co-operation.

Best wishes,
Takashi Kozuka
