Subject: HAMLET (Puppet Theatre)

Although I do not have the proper qualifications: I am daring to write
to you because I am an Electronics Engineer graduated at RCA Institutes
New York 1976 and with 8 years of British Council. I have performed as a
translator since we arrived (wife and I) in this city (La Paz, Baja
California Sur) in 1986. I teach English (Technical-Economics and
Foreign Trade) at the Universidad Autonoma de Baja Calfiornia Sur, from
grade 1 to 5 and advanced. We (wife and I) have a puppet theatre whose
last presentation at the University was Don Quixote (IN ENGLISH), with
such we had a full house. We are going to present HAMLET in November
at the University and we are starting from scratch (build puppets and
everything that goes with them). So for this reason I am asking for
advise to those who have the proper knowledge, such as yourself. Any
kind of information would be appreciated. We have tried to buy from
www.audible.com the audio for Hamlet (we want it to be recorded and with
perfect pronunciation) but the narration we want is not available for
Mexico. We need a video also to copy the faces and dresses. And to
shorten it (40 -60 minutes 1-2 hours ). I am teacher to 235 students
and would like them get to like this. Also the English department has
almost no events, (videos, plays, etc) so I want to stop this and get
pupils to speak.

I would appreciate any kind of help.
