Subject: Middle Temple Twelfth Night (Again)

The new British Shakespeare Association website has posted a link to a 2
February article in the Independent. It is, in part, a brief review of
the Middle Temple Globe production, but more space is devoted to an
interview with Mark Rylance. It is a rather worshipful interview, with
the writer (Paul Taylor) all but admitting to having the hots for
Rylance, but overall quite interesting. My favorite part of the review
section were these remarks on Rylance's Olivia:

"What's so delightful is that you feel that this Olivia is
psychologically leaning on her lingerie. Loosen those stays and there'd
be a volcanic splatter-fest of desire dripping down the walls of the
household of which she's the nervous chatelaine."

A link to the article in its entirety can be found at the VERY well done
BSA site:

Much praise is due, also, to Stuart Hampton-Reeves for his hard work in
making the site what it is, and to the University of Central Lancashire
for hosting it. Anyone on the list who hasn't visited the BSA website
yet, should.
