Emma,

Some of the pieces I have found most useful with regard to Phillips's
production include:

Knowles, Richard Paul. "Robin Phillips Measures Up: Measure for Measure
at Stratford, Ontario, 1975-76." Essays in Theatre 8 (1989): 35-59.

Dawson, Anthony B. Watching Shakespeare: A Playgoer's Guide. New York:
     St. Martin's, 1978.

McGuire, Philip C. Speechless Dialect: Shakespeare's Open Silences.
Berkeley:
     University of California Press, 1985.

Hope that helps.

Anthony B. Dawson's book WATCHING SHAKESPEARE discusses this production
in some detail, although I don't know that there's more here than what
you'd garner from contemporary reviews.

The first interview with Robin Phillips in Ralph Berry's book On
Directing Shakespeare is entirely about the 1975 Measure for Measure.
Anthony Dawson discusses the production in comparison with several
others in his book Watching Shakespeare. There is also a brief review
in Samuel Leiter's useful compendium Shakespeare Around the Globe.
