An establishment that I patronize for breakfast gives away a free copy
of a particular British tabloid with the bacon. The following catch my
eye in today's copy:

1. A correspondent bemoans the lack of plumbers in Britain. This is
partly due, he claims, to the educational requirements for entry into a
plumbing apprenticeship being too high. "Are customers expecting a few
verses of Shakespeare to be recited while the toilet is being
unblocked?" he fulminates.

2. On the opposite page an advert. "The Shakespeare Bungalows. A housing
development in Norwich. Two plots available at
