Brother Godshalk,

I suspect that you and I are near in age. We were raised up when New
Criticism still held the  field and it seemed permissible, even natural
to  use the  phrase "this play  is  about" while silently succumbing to
New Critical theory. The Comedy of Errors is a comedy about errors. You
may make of it what you will: your paper, your ink; your stage, your
actors; your part, your line; your time, your money
