Comment: SHK 14.2428 Reversed Thoughts in Hamlet
Michael B. Luskin's reading of Hamlet is admirably close, but I'm not
sure that the 'reversal' he points to is as specific or as distinctive
as he reckons. I'd say he's picking up an echo of the larger,
backward-looking, recursive mode that's a central characteristic of the
play's engagement with and exposition of its plot.
