I am now accepting registrations for this summer's Shakespeare: Text
and Theatre Program at Stratford-Upon-Avon. The program is scheduled
for Monday, June 21st through Saturday, June 26th (arrive June 20th,
depart June 27th).

If we get the full 20 participants, the price per participant will be
$1150. If we get more than 15 but fewer than 20 participants, the price
will be $1275. That price includes housing, breakfast each morning, all
theatre tickets, course costs, including a voice lesson from the RST
vocal coach, a backstage tour, and a trip to London for a show at the
Globe Theatre.

The play schedule is as follows:

Mon 21 June 7.30 Tamar's Revenge (Swan Theatre)
Tues 22 June 7.00 King Lear (Royal Shakespeare Theatre)
Wed 23 June 7.30 The Dog in the Manger (Swan Theatre)
Thurs 24 June 7.30 Measure for Measure (Globe Theatre in London)
Fri 25 June 7.30 Macbeth (Royal Shakespeare Theatre)
Sat 26 June 7.30 Romeo &Juliet (Royal Shakespeare Theatre)

I would like to ask you to commit now to participating in this wonderful
program. In order to reserve your space, I will need a $500 downpayment
(check made out to: Shakespeare: Text and Theatre). I can take up to but
nor more than 20 people, including myself. If you would like to go,
send me your deposit. Indicate with the check whether you are
committing regardless of which of the two prices the program ultimately
costs, or whether you are committing ONLY if the group makes the full 20
participants. If there are people who cannot go unless we get the full
20, then I will guarantee a full refund. This means that the program
will make and we will be able to go under either one of the following
two circumstances:

EITHER: we get 20 people
OR: we get at least 15 people who wish to go even at the cost of $125
extra because we didn't get 20.

I will register members in the order in which I receive the deposit
checks; the first 20 requests will be honored, and I will create a
waiting list in case someone has to withdraw.

The deposit of $500 is due no later than Friday, March 26th. That
deposit will be refunded only under one of the following three conditions:
1) The program does not make (meaning that we don't get at least 15
2) If you indicate that you can only go if we get 20 and then we don't
get 20.
3) If I can fill your place with another participant from the waiting
list. Otherwise, that $500 deposit is non-refundable!

The balance will be due by June 1, 2004.

Checks are to be made out to Shakespeare: Text and Theatre. Mail to:
