Subject:        English Renaissance Position

Assistant Professor of English

Tenure-track assistant professor in English Renaissance literature (4/4
load), beginning August 1, 2005. PhD in English required by time of
appointment. UT Martin has the traditional tenure requirements in
teaching, research, and service, though the primary focus is on quality
teaching. A successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to
teaching composition and the ability to use technology as a teaching
tool, as well as ability in specialty areas. Secondary expertise in one
or more of the following areas would be useful: technical
communications, eighteenth-century British literature,
modern/contemporary literature. Application letter and CV to Renaissance
