Seems to me this is just another aspect of Hamlet being a play, a
suspension of disbelief. More like a dream. Claudius's kingship is
rather validated by Gertrude's cottoning to him. Crazy in real life.
Reasonable here. Ghost crazy in real life. OK here. We don't get too far
if we do not allow ourselves to run as free as WS did.
