Subject:        Heywood's Apology

Dear all,

I have been trying to make sense of a couple of allusions in Heywood's
*Apology for Actors* (1612), and am slightly hamstrung by the fact that
there doesn't seem to be a modern annotated edition of it in
circulation. At the start of the second section, Heywood recounts the
following anecdote:
