Comment: Re: SHK 16.0969 Shakespeare's Mythical Monkey Authors

Richard Kennedy writes, "Starting with Adam and Eve, and given an
eternity of infinite events following, all history would eventually be
repeated just as we know it today, but let's hope not."

I started this thread, tongue-in-cheek, without expecting anyone would
further accept the notion that anyone else other than Will Shakespeare
could write his own plays. I always saw this notion of mythical monkeys
as an Oxfordian plot from left field. So, I will end this thread by
saying that Will Shakespeare accomplished his feat in his lifetime.
Sorry to say the mythical monkey authors do NOT have an "eternity of
infinite events" inasmuch as science postulates that our Solar-Planetary
System will implode long before these monkeys will even write the titles
correctly, let alone get one act under their belts :) Too bad it
takes so many mythical monkeys to attempt a feat that one man did alone
without the benefit of electricity or typewriters. Let them try it with
ink and quill!

So if there's an infinite number of universes and an equal number of
histories, then we got stuck in a clinker? Yikes!
