I would like to make a correction to Richard Burt's posting. The British
Universities Film and Video Council is developing an international
database of Shakespeare on film, television, and radio - it is not a
reference book, although research articles will be written on the
business of Shakespeare and film and Shakespeare on radio. The grant
holder for the project is Luke McKernan, but the research and
cataloguing will be undertaken largely by myself (Senior Researcher) and
Eve-Marie Oesterlen (Broadcast Researcher).
Luke (currently on leave) has sent full details of the project to
SHAKSPER and the text should be with list members soon.
