Subject: New Hamlet & Shakespeare Forum
Mr. Cook has said he wants to focus SHAKSPER more on the serious and
scholarly aspects of Shakespeare and Hamlet, and has advised people to
use a blog or other place for casual, chatty discussion. I have a
possibility to offer on that.
I have a new Hamlet discussion board online at
http://www.hamletregained.com/forums/
The software for the board was loaded on the server only last Thursday,
but it does appear to be working correctly now, and is ready for
postings. The main focus is Hamlet, but there's a category for
Shakespeare in general, and categories for other topics. Board policy
does allow for informal conversation, casual musings, speculation, etc.
A caution is in order. The board allows for authorship discussion.
However, authorship is given its own category, and I promise to keep any
such discussion in that category, and not allow it to roam the board.
Those who detest authorship discussion can simply avoid that category,
and I'll do my best to insure you're not bothered with it in other
forums on the board.
The board uses vBulletin software, the same kind of forum setup that
everyone has seen many times on the web. Registration is required to
post, but it's free.
