Subject: Alas, poor Poor Yorick

To all our faithful customers and friends,

It is with deep personal sadness that I must announce that the Poor
Yorick Shakespeare Catalogue will be closing its doors as of October 31,
2007. Please know that I have considered every possible avenue for the
company's survival, including a number of buyout offers and
restructuring options, but it was not meant to be.

I am extremely proud of our achievements, having served the academic,
educational and theatrical communities for the past ten years, and the
only regret I feel is for any inconvenience our closure might inflict on
you, our customers.

We are beginning our liquidation process through a series of sales
offered first to you, our academic customers who have supported us most
faithfully through the years, and to our in-house e-mail list.

Our current newsletter covering these matters can be found at:
http://www.bardcentral.com/pdf/aug07.pdf

The contents and instructions regarding our clear out sale can be accessed
here: http://www.bardcentral.com/pdf/endstock.pdf

If you have trouble with PDF files (and the sale list is quite large),
please e-mail me off-list at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and request a word
file instead.

On behalf of myself and my hard-working staff, thank you for all your
support and friendship through the years.

imagination is! My gorge rises at it." Tanya, Noah, et al., you will be
missed.]
