Sorry, was this per my post? I was responding to the article at the link
that JD provided -- i.e., the copy said her teeth were black. Maybe
contact the author of the article, Catherine Kozak? Here is the passage
in question:
'One example she cited was a German traveler to the English court, who
described the queen's face as "oblong, fair, but wrinkled; her eyes
small, yet black and pleasant; her nose a little hooked; her lips
narrow, and her teeth black" ' (para. 14).
