Subject: 1 Henry 6 - New Law & Literature Study
Dear Hardy:
The Shaksper.net community has been one of the more entertaining and informative
parts of my life for almost 10 years. As I told you last year, I finally
finished my dissertation and my doctorate.
This month, VDM Verlag is publishing the dissertation as "I am but shadow of
myself": English Common Law and Legal Identity in Shakespeare's 1 Henry 6.
While there is a typo in the promotional materials (Henry II should be Henry
VII), the book will be available very soon.

A great deal of the inspiration for the study came from lurking on the board and
passively partaking in the wit and wisdom of the participants. Although I have
never met Al Margary, he has been of incredible assistance in helping me locate
e-texts.
Words are inadequate and my skill too limited to express my thanks.
Sincerely,
Deborah Selden
