In New York, the Public Theatre offers a program called "Shakespeare Lab"

These are just two of many out there. Be sure to check American Theatre
and Backstage--most workshops advertise in one or the other of these.

The Actors' Shakespeare Project (whose highly successful *King Lear*,
with Alvin Epstein as the old monarch, will play in New York at La MaMa
June 15-July 2, by the way) will be offering a series of workshops in
Boston in July and August. Details and dates have not yet been
determined, but a query to the company will get you on the mailing list:
