Hi, everyone.
Just thought I'd mention that this TV list is something I've been doing
for years on HLAS, which is why you saw the "coming in the middle" type
intro, "Kind of slim pickings this month." I sent the June list to Hardy
and asked whether it would be an appropriate subject for SHAKSPER, and
he kindly decided that it would. So I'll post them here from now on, too.
They're mostly U.S. listings, although I have need to check Canadian TV
listings occasionally, too, so I sometimes look for Shakespeare-related
airings while I'm at it. We obviously have some Canadians on this list,
so I'll try to be more diligent about that in future months.
You'll notice that I use a fairly liberal definition of what's related
to Shakespeare. Yes, I will be listing "Forbidden Planet" and "West Side
Story" when they show up. :-)
